Leave it to the Canucks to develop an off the wall design that works. This system would be ideal for smaller isolated rural areas, fishing lodges, eco-agricultural settlements, and other inland ventures. My concerns are maintenance costs, tornadoes - windstorms, and leakage of expensive helium (why not use hydrogen?). Scale is another factor. How would small units fare? Is bigger better? Is there an ideal size for the winds in a given area and the weights involved?
